Mpox (Monkeypox) Info and Updates

The Crook County Health Department is in active communication with Oregon Health Authority to obtain the most up-to-date information on Mpox so we can be adequately prepared in the event of any case(s). There are currently no confirmed/suspected cases of Mpox in Crook County or in Central Oregon.

Supplies for testing are limited. If you are experiencing symptoms, please avoid going to the emergency room. Instead, call your doctor if you have symptoms and they can decide if you qualify for Mpox testing based on your medical history and current symptoms.
