SPECIAL SERVICES DIVISION
Crook County Special Services is a division of the Crook County Sheriff's Office. It consists of the following Groups; Emergency Management, Search and Rescue, Air Operations, Marine Patrol, BOR Patrol, Auxiliary Communications and Fleet /Grants. The division is staffed by one Commander / Emergency Manager and a part time Search and Rescue Coordinator. We also rely on approximately 60 volunteer and seasonal employees. Our volunteers also provide help staff & support at our Emergency Operations Center during times of activation.
MISSION STATEMENT
To Coordinate and integrate all activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from threatened or actual natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other man-made disasters.
