The Crook County Jail is an 86-bed facility located at 308 NE 2nd Street, Prineville, OR 97754. The Corrections division is operated by twenty-six dedicated corrections personnel who are led by Lieutenant Andrew Rasmussen as the Jail Commander.

Crook County Jail mainly houses pre-sentenced detainees, convicted persons sentenced to the supervisory authority, and individuals serving parole or probation sanctions. It is the mission of the Crook County Jail to provide secure custody for all offenders confined within the Crook County Jail, promoting public safety in an efficient and effective manner. Crook County Corrections personnel are committed to ensuring the safety of all incarcerated persons.

The Crook County Corrections Division works with numerous agencies to provide recovery services for incarcerated individuals to prevent recidivism. These agencies include but are not limited to; Best Care Treatment, Choices Recovery Services, and Turning Point Recovery.

Thanks to the citizens of Crook County, our new facility opened August 5th, 2019.
