Detectives

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division is comprised of one Criminal Detective, and one Narcotics Detective.  These detectives are responsible for investigating major crimes in Crook County.  The Detective Division is an important part of the Crook County Sheriff’s Office.  The Detectives maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and honesty.

Cases assigned to the Detectives are those that require extensive or lengthy follow up, thus freeing patrol deputies for other duties. These cases include a wide range of crimes such as Domestic Violence assaults, drug activity, animal abuse, elder abuse, child abuse, homicides, sex crimes, and property crimes.
 
The Detective Division also supplements the Central Oregon Major Crime Team.  The Narcotics Detective supplements the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement team.
