Crook County Planning Commission - Agri-tourism O'Neil Arena
Crook County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 4:00 p.m. on May 24, 2023, in the meeting room at 320 NE Court Street, Prineville, to consider the following:
Record number 217-23-000246-PLNG - Paul Terrell through agent Tom Koue (“Applicant”) proposes to host 11 Agri-tourism events on an approximate 87-acre tract identified as Tax Lot No. 1414290000200.
The property is identified as 1414290000200; the O’Neil Arena has the address of 3530 NE Lone Pine Rd., Redmond. The property is located approximately 14 miles west of the City of Prineville. The property is zoned Exclusive Farm Use (EFU-2).
The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code (“CCC”) 18.172 (Administration Provisions), and will be reviewed for compliance with CCC 18.16 (Exclusive Farm Use), Crook County Comprehensive Plan; and ORS 215.
Written testimony or comments may be submitted to the Crook County Community Development Department by email at Plan@crookcountyor.gov, and may also be submitted in person or by mail to 300 NE 3rd St, Room 12, Prineville, OR 97754. Oral testimony will be received by the Planning Commission at the public hearing.
Written testimony received by May 16, at 4:00 pm, will be considered by staff prior to the issuance of the staff report and recommendation on this application. However, written testimony will continue to be accepted until the record closes, which may occur as soon as the conclusion of the public hearing.
Failure to raise an issue at the hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
