Cheryl Seely, County Clerk
Crook County Clerk Cheryl Seely first took office in January of 2015 after being elected by the voters in November of 2014. Cheryl is currently serving her third 4 year term. Cheryl has over 30 years experience with recording documents and property transactions. She has over 10 years experience with elections. Cheryl is responsible for election administration, recording property transactions, issuing marriage licenses, archiving and records storage, Property Value Appeals Board, passports and more.
Cheryl is an active member in the Oregon Association of County Clerks (OACC), the Association of Oregon Counties (AOC) and iGO (International Association of Government Officials). She is currently serving as the is the Vice-Chair on the Legislative Committee, the Chair of the Property Value Appeals Board (PVAB) Clerk's Training Committee and recently appointed as the Oregon Delegation Director for iGO (International Association of Government Officials). She has served on the Executive Board for OACC, Recording Futures Committee and the Oregon Centralized Voter Registration Change Control Committee for OACC. Cheryl is also a member of OACC's Zone 5. She attends all of OACC's meetings and conferences, AOC conference and iGO conferences (when available).

Cheryl was born and raised in Prineville and graduated from Crook County High School. She has lived the majority of her life in Prineville.
