CANCELLATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission regularly scheduled meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, has been CANCELLED due to lack of quorum.

The following public hearing has been cancelled: File number 217-25-000077-PLNG: The City of Prineville is proposing a 227-acre Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) expansion. The primary purpose of this expansion is to accommodate a biomass power generating facility where a current gravel mining operation exists. The City’s Comprehensive Plan Economic section sites to the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Chapter 5; Economic Opportunities Analysis which identifies other target industries, particularly in the manufacturing sector that could be allowed on the remaining property.

A copy of the application, all documents, and evidence relied upon by the applicant along with the applicable criteria are available for inspection at no cost and copies will be provided at reasonable cost in accordance with the County’s fee schedule.
