Upcoming Curb Ramp Improvement Project in Prineville

We wanted to inform you about the upcoming Prineville Curb Ramp Improvement Project, which is scheduled to begin at the end of this month. This initiative, led by ODOT, is focused on enhancing accessibility by updating non-ADA compliant curb ramps on the eastern end of Prineville.

You can expect construction activity in the following locations:

• U.S. 26 (Ochoco Highway) from the intersection of U.S. 26 / Hickey Farms Road to the intersection of U.S. 26 /NE Stearns Drive.
• OR 380 (Paulina Highway) from the intersection of NE Combs Flat Road/ NE Mason Drive to the intersection of NE Combs Flat Road/ SE 2nd Street.

Construction is expected to being the last week of April. During construction you can expect:

• Crews working during the day throughout Spring and Summer.
• Sidewalk, shoulder, and lane closures with flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.
• Construction noise.
• Possible delays.
