Take-home Technology Kits

To increase access to technology and WiFi across Crook County, the library now offers loanable technology kits.

We offer:

• 2 kits with a Samsung Galaxy tablet paired with WiFi hotspots
• 5 individual WiFi hotspots

You can use these items however you need- for work, school, or just for fun! Our tablet kits are a great way to try out the digital services we offer: hoopla digital, Libby by Overdrive, or our research databases.

There is no charge to check out any of these kits; each kit checks out for 21 days. Kits are subject to lost/damaged charges according to each kit's inventory price sheet. Kits that are not returned by six weeks from checkout date will receive a "billed not paid" status and the full charge of the kit will be applied to your account. All devices in the kit will be deactivated at that time.

Each kit comes with the information you need to get connected; staff are available for basic instruction and troubleshooting. The library does not guarantee WiFi coverage with the hotspots we circulate.
