Seeking Applicants: Vacancies on the Crook County Ambulance Service Area (ASA) Advisory Committee - Apply by December 18, 2025
The Crook County Ambulance Service Area (ASA) Advisory Committee serves as an advisory body to the Crook County Board of Commissioners on matters related to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) systems. Crook County is currently recruiting for the following appointed member positions on the ASA Advisory Committee: EMS Medical Director, Ambulance Service Provider, City of Prineville Representative, Crook County Sheriff’s Office Representative, Crook County Health & Human Services Representative, and Community Member. The committee’s purpose is to resolve local EMS issues, promote awareness of potential concerns, and improve communication between ambulance medical directors and the community. It ensures effective pre-hospital emergency care through quality assurance, reviews complaints and provider applications, and makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. The committee also oversees updates to the Ambulance Service Area Plan and develops interim coverage plans when needed.
