Press Release: Crook County Health & Human Services Hosts “Changing the Conversation About Pain” Training for Central Oregon Providers

Crook County Health & Human Services, in partnership with St. Charles Health System, is hosting Changing the Conversation About Pain—a free, one-day training for healthcare professionals on Friday, November 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Redmond Technology Education Center. Led by pain education experts Nora Stern, MS, PT, and Elissa Denton, LCSW, the training will cover updated pain science, trauma-informed care, and practical tools for team-based, patient-centered pain management. Open to medical and behavioral health providers, case managers, and peer support specialists, the event offers continuing education credits and includes lunch. Registration is free but required by Wednesday, October 29.
