PUBLISHED NOTICE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Commissioners of Crook County request proposals from experienced Architectural Firms to assist in the planning and design of a New Justice Center in Prineville, Oregon. It is the intent of the County to enter a contract with the selected firm to provide the necessary planning and design services including all required engineering services. The contract will include a fixed fee for the entire scope of the work.  Firms responding to this request will be evaluated based upon their qualifications, prior experience, proposed schedule, a plan for completing work, associated fees, and other relevant factors.

The primary focus will be to replace the State and County Justice System functions now housed in the existing 1909 County Court House with a modern facility with proper departmental relationships and up-to-date security.

Electronic copies of the Request for Proposal may be obtained by calling the County Administration offices at (541) 447-6555 or by emailing a request to colleen.ferguson@co.crook.or.us.  Proposals are due prior to November 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM PDT, 2020.  Proposals received after that time will not be considered. The County may interview one or more of the top finalists.

All proposers must be licensed to practice architecture within the State of Oregon. Failure to be licensed will be sufficient cause to reject proposals as non-responsive.

This solicitation does not obligate Crook County to pay any costs incurred in preparation or presentations, or to select any proposer who responds.  The County reserves the right to reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed requirements and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a written finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
