What is the Natural Resources Advisory Committee?
The Natural Resources Advisory Committee serves a crucial role in supporting the Crook County Board of Commissioners. Its primary purpose is to provide expert advice and recommendations concerning the management of federal and state lands that affect Crook County. The Committee also assists the Coordinator of County Natural Resources, as well as staff and technical consultants, in addressing and managing other natural resource issues throughout the County. By offering insights and guidance on coordinated land management strategies and resource management practices, the Committee aims to ensure that the County’s natural resources are managed sustainably and effectively, reflecting the interests and needs of the community.
