E-Book and Digital Audiobook Downloads

Your library card gives you free 24-hour access to thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks for all ages. The library e-book program we use, OverDrive, is compatible with most e-readers, smartphones, tablets, mp3 players, and computers.

You can check out up to 15 books at a time for 3 weeks and can renew your books 1 time if no one is on the waiting list. Best of all, your books automatically disappear after the due date--which means no late fees!

You can look up e-books and e-audiobooks using the OverDrive app or the digital catalog. You'll need your library card number and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number) to check out books.

To get started, tablet and smartphone users need to download the OverDrive app from your device's app store and create an OverDrive account with your e-mail address. You can search, check out, and read or listen to e-books within the app. Non-tablet users need to follow the Getting Started guide for your device or come by the library for one-on-one help.

If you get stuck, try searching the OverDrive Help website. They have step-by-step instructions for solving almost any problem.

Need Help?

We offer free 15-minute one-on-one help sessions to help you troubleshoot a problem or get started downloading e-books and audiobooks. Bring your device by the library any time we're open!
