Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold the next Public Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. The Meeting will be conducted in the Crook County Meeting Room located at 320 NE Court Street, Prineville, Oregon, to consider the following:



  • April 12, 2017 Minutes



  • Ryan and Ashley Goering, owners ~ Record Number 217-17-000088-PLNG:  The applicants request a conditional use permit to construct a personal use airport for their use and for commercial aviation activities in connection with agricultural operations.  Personal use airports are defined in Crook County Code 18.08 and are allowed as conditional uses under Crook County Code (CCC) 18.16.020, and Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS 215.283(2)(h)) and are reviewed under CCC 18.160 (conditional uses), ORS 215.283 and Oregon Administrative Rules 660-033-130(5) and (7). The property is identified as T 17 S, R 16 E WM, tax lot 704.  The property is approximately 395 acres and is about 24 miles south east of Prineville off CC Dunham Road.
  • David and Janette Roth, owners- Record Number 217-17-000103-PLNG :  The applicants request a conditional use approval to use the former Mt. Bachelor Academy facility as an educational camp and retreat center.  The property is zoned F-10 (Forest Recreation) and is approximately 53 acres. The use is allowed as a conditional use under Crook County Code 18.96.030 and will also be reviewed under CCC 18.160 (conditional uses).  The property is identified as T13S, R19E, Section 2C tax lot 4901 and T13S R19E WM, Section 3D, Tax lot 200.
