Hazardous Fuels Removal Project

Crook County seeks bids for qualified contractors for the removal of hazardous wildland fuels as part of a wildfire mitigation effort funded in part by a grant from FEMA.  The bids will be compiled into a Qualified Bid Pool of available contractors, as detailed in the complete bid packet.

This Invitation is to request proposals from qualified contractors for the work described in the bid packet regarding removal of hazardous fuels from Crook County property and other private lands.  The complete bid packet (RFP) can be viewed and printed below, or at the Crook County Courthouse, Room 10, 300 NE Third Street, Prineville, OR 97754.  Bids may be submitted in person or by mail.  Bids sent electronically (via fax or email) will not be considered.

Bids received after 4:00 p.m. on April 21, 2017 will not be considered.  The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids received to the extent permitted or required by law.  

Bids received will be opened at 4:10 P.M. on April 21, 2017, at the Crook County Courthouse, Room 10, 300 NE Third Street, Prineville, OR 97754.

Notice is hereby given that Crook County, through its County Court, will open sealed bids for the Crook County McKay Creek Overlay project.

Sealed bids will be received until March 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., according to the official clock located in the Crook County Administration Office.

Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and delivered on or before the deadline to the Crook County Courthouse, 300 N.E. Third Street, Room 10, Prineville, Oregon 97754.

The bid opening will take place at 3:00 p.m. on March 28, 2017, at the Crook County Road Department, 1306 N Main Street, Prineville, Oregon 97754. Final award will be announced during County Court at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
