Crook County - Public Notices


The Crook County Court will hold a public hearing on a petition to form the Flat Rock Road Maintenance special road district on Tuesday, June 19, at 9:00 a.m.  The hearing will be held at the Legal Department Conference Room at 203 NE Court Street, Prineville, OR.  All interested persons may appear and be heard. The proposed district’s purpose is to improve and maintain roads within its boundaries of Section 5 of Township 16 S, Range 17 E WM.  Written comments may be sent to 300 NE 3rd Street, Attn: District Formation, Prineville, OR 97754. Additional items may be discussed that arise too late to be included as part of this notice.  Assistance to handicapped individuals is provided with advance notice.


A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Crook County State of Oregon concerning the budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, will be held at the Crook County Meeting Room located at 320 NE Court Street, Prineville, Oregon.  The meeting will take place beginning on the 23rd day of May 2018, commencing at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until completed.  The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and receive comment from the public on the budget.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.   Any person may appear at the meetings and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.  A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 17, 2018 at the Crook County Administration Office, 300 NE 3rd Street, Room 10, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  There is a fee to obtain a budget document. Beginning April 17, 2018, the Crook County Court will be meeting in a County Work Session each Tuesday of the month beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the County Legal Office located at 203 NE Court Street, Prineville, Oregon. In addition to the Regular Work Session agenda items, the County Court may convene into executive session under ORS 192.660.
